Adventures In 3D Printing

Not showing every print, but this is my first 5-colour print. I think it turned out super cool. And it maxes out the print area as it has to be printed diagonally to fit on the print bed. I printed spacers this morning so my wife can decide on flush mount our space with lights mounted behind it. There are hollows for magnets in the back because this will go on our cabin door during cruises.

I would have to check at home. Just used what was already set in the file. Except I had to switch it to the 0.4 nozzles I have because it was set for 0.2. And thank goodness. This was about a 5 hour print and at 0.2 it was over a day.

I use the 0.4 nozzle as my default one.. I haven't found a need to go smaller even when printing things like razors or what not , the detail has been fine even with that size one ..

Oooh, the main nozzle is 256mmX256mm, the 2nd nozzle is 235mmX256mm. In this machine the 2nd nozzle prints from the filament mounted on the outside of the machine. Which in theory reduces colour changes (so time and waste). But on this print I couldn't use it for any of the main colours because of the size of it and pushing outside of the print area of the 2nd nozzle, so that's why blue is there because it's only a small accent on the funnels.
