bowl lather, badger brush

I was a bit rushed this morning, so I didn't spend as much time building my lather as I wanted to. I added some glycerin to the bowl while making lather and it did seem to help thicken it up a little bit. First pass was a bit thicker on the face, and was slower to dissipate. Second pass was still pretty thin.

Ok.....now i'm wondering what to do. I soaked my puck chunk overnight on the first day of the challenge and all the glycerin oozed out of it.....should I add some back in when I lather to see if it improves the lather?

I'm not sure why....but I can't add quotes to my posts. And that goes along with not being able to add gifs. I think @BarberDave is limiting my access so he can have some peace and quiet.

Yes, one is a best practice. The other is a suggestion for scientific research.

Needed to be out of the house early today so went for a quick set up.

Cube preshave
Damp brush, light load on a dry puck
Quick face lather with some pressing of the brush, didn’t concern myself about adding air

And


It’s the best lather I’ve gotten so far. Best explanation is that I effectively lathered the preshave and there happened to be a little Eucris soap on the brush too.

I have shaved with the cube. I still have a bit of the OG charcoal cube.
