Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Brother I live in Utah! Can't even buy alcohol on holidays. I have to go to state ran liquor store today that closes early because of the holiday. There will be a police officer there checking IDs and not letting more than 20 people in at a time. Just Google Utah liquor laws you will be shocked how backwards it is here.
There are a lot of things I don't see the need to be different from state to state. Liqour laws being one and who can sell what. One state you can get only wine at grocery stores, another any alcohol, another really none at all. Wineries can only ship wines to some states and not others. Etc, etc. Guess this should go in the what gets me steamed thread.

Don't even get me started.

We can trade, mines been used.

They were pretty darn good!

Can’t go wrong with GTB. Good stuff Chad!

But did I read that last part right? You went to Costco....today? Are you nuts?!?

It was a mad house, but weirdly efficient. Had to get diapers.

I mean, he IS doing an entire series of bad blade shaves so...

I may have to order some GTB if they have a good sale.

Order it now!

This is a very good point Kyle!

Buy it!

Razor: Game Changer .84
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword (1)
Soap/cream: Barrister and Mann Latha Sandalwood (Currant and Amber)
Brush: TSC Member Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Thai Winds

Well kind of a smorgasbord or items used today for my Thanksgiving shave. I reached and grabbed the B&M Latha Sandalwood which is probably my favorite B&M scent. A real shame they don't make it anymore. I hope one day he decides to bring back the Latha scents in his new formulas. Because when this one is gone it is sadly gone. I had a funny mishap in my shave today... you can watch the beginning of my video to see it LOL. I wrapped up the shave with the Thai Winds not because it is a perfect match but because it is the Whistle decanter and I am grateful and thankful that I get to do something I love and get paid to do it! Officiate sports. I got a fantastic shave and ready for the turkey.

Homefront:

Sadly the storm is hitting and they have practically closed the canyon. Saying chains only and and plows will not be out as heavy due to holiday. They also stated only travel up the canyon if you absolutely need too. So we opted to cancel our 2 night stay as the storm is hitting through Sunday. We moved our reservation to March. So instead we will have a mini staycation with my family and do things in the valley. Possibly a movie, or a trip to the aquarium. Today Thanksgiving is at my parent's house so heading over there in a couple hours.

Have a great day and Happy Thanksgiving Cadre.

Sorry about the trip Chad...but March might be more enjoyable. For the record...yeah...I still don't like Ghost Town Barber!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. You and your family are a big part of the lives of the Cadre and we are Thankful that we all have a place that we can congregate and talk amongst friends!

Thanks for reading guys. All good on the trip the storm is supposed to hit the valley tonight. Time will tell.

Razor: Timeless Razor .68
Blade: Shark Chrome Platinum (2)
Soap/cream: CBL Aquatic Oud
Brush: Sorrentino Brush - Sadie
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Leather

Well another shave today with a CBL soap, that I haven't used since it arrived a couple of weeks ago. But it is a very nice scent and one I like a lot, more of a spring scent in my opinion but it worked today very well. I finished the shave with Avon leather obviously not a match but a very scent none the less, and have been on Avon kick as of late.

Woke up and had some pie for breakfast obviously! Then we set up Christmas. Then in the afternoon we ran to Payless because both kids needed boots, shoes, and church shoes. The 50% off everything in the store was too good to pass up especially with how quick kids change shoe sizes. So I stood in line while Megan grabbed what we needed. Took 45 min to get through that line but $150 turned into $75 so worth it.

Have a good evening Cadre!

50% off is hard to turn down! I have a 16 year old so I’m very familiar with the size changes. They also get more expensive the bigger they get!

So now “looked outside” means pulling up a security cam instead of using a window?

Razor: Timeless Razor .68
Blade: Shark Stainless Steel (1)
Soap/cream: Longrifle Cedarwood: Lavender
Brush: Envy Shave Ute Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Longrifle Cedarwood: Lavender

Well another shave in the bad blade series. Let me just say it was way better than expected. More on that in that thread.

The soap today was a favorite scent of mine. I haven't used Longrifle in awhile and no good reason as to why. This soap performs and perform well. I really enjoy it. The aftershave is really good too, and helped cap a good shave.

Well the snow is here in the valley ugh! And is just coming down! I hate winter especially if it means driving in the snow. Today is the Rivalry game also known as the Holy War. The Utes are hoping to make it 8 wins in a row! Hard to not be looking forward to next week when they play for the conference championship, hoping for a win! Have a good day Cadre.
