Some Van Halen this morning. Saw them on this tour. It was fantastic! Hope you enjoy.
Phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to Stirling and their excellent Irisch Moos homage, "I, Rich Moose" shave soap. Fantastic scent with an incredible lather built with the WWBW badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & Mäurer & Wirtz "Irisch Moos" aftershave splash & EdT.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Better night's rest last night. Sunday, for whatever reason, the nerve damage in my right leg was really bothering me. Felt as if someone were driving a spike into the top of my right foot.

It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm revisiting Swedish singer, Yota. Hope you enjoy.
Another phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to PAA and their excellent Crabtree & Evelyn for Men homage, "Crabapple & Newton" suite of products. Fantastic scent! Identical to the source in all its 80's powerhouse glory. Incredible lather built with the RajonCajonBrushes synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching splash & EdP.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not much to report. Decent night's sleep last night. Now if I could only get @Spider to make some calls that actually benefit me..

Nice , I have always wanted to try Irisch Moos or one of the dupes, i'll have to get one sometime.. On another subject , I hope the pain in your foot has gotten better.. Maybe it's the changing weather , I woke up today and my shoulder is hurting really bad today too , its bothering me to the point I couldn't even unscrew a soda bottle cap on my soda , I had to get my wife to just open the cap.. Thanks! Yeah, the pain has subsided, thankfully. There were several makers out there making Irisch Moos scented products. In addition to Stirling, Arian & Evans had / have one.. Not sure if it's still in production. The Stirling version is a safe bet. Not an exact duplicate, but good nontheless.
I'm glad to hear the pain subsided.... Also , Thanks for the recommendations , I will check them out....

Fantastic Old School English scent with incredible lather built with the Envy Shave badger brush for three passes with the PAA "META-4" and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching splash & EdT.

Closing out the workweek with the 1980 Black Sabbath album, Heaven and Hell. Hope you enjoy.
Today's shave narrowly edged out yesterday's for Best Shave of the Week! Returned to Adopted Acres Soap Co. and their excellent "Pineapple Under the Sea" shave soap and splash. Fantastic scent! Though not plainly stated on the maker's site, this seems to be their riff on Creed Aventus. It's a fantastic pineapple-forward scent with simply incredible lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash & Mont Blanc "Explorer" EdT.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Came home from practice last night very hyped from the quick progress we've been making. We're really starting to "learn" each other as musicians and this is the happiest I've been since Marty (the singer) and I first formed the band back in 2015.

Today is World Quantum Day and so I'm featuring one from German electronic band Tangerine Dream off their 2017 album Quantum Gate + Quantum Key. Hope you enjoy.
Another great shave this morning! Returned to Ariana & Evans and their excellent "Emerald Moss" shave soap. This is supposed to be their homage to Irisch Moos, but it falls short IMO. Regardless, it's a great scent with exceptional lather built with the PAA synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, and Coty "Aspen" aftershave gel and EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Another unseasonable warm day. We'll be flirting with 90 degrees by Friday.
