Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm doubling up by going with a song featuring two all-female bands at once. Hope you enjoy.
Fantastic shave this morning. Returned to Zingari Man and their excellent "Bon Monsieur" shave soap & splash. Great dupe of its namesake frag with excellent lather built with the Wild West Brushworks badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave splash & Rogue "Bon Monsieur" EdP.

Another wonderful shave this morning. Returned to RazoRock and their excellent "Blue Label" shave soap & splash. Great blue Floid dupe with exceptional lather built with the Wild West Brushworks synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave splash & Creed "Erolfa" EdP.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Band practice tonight.. Have another show on the 18th. Will try to get some pics & vids.

Going with one today from the inimitable David Bowie. Hope you enjoy.
Wonderful shave this morning! New soap day with the arrival yesterday of ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Break the Chains" shave soap & splash. A wonderfully bright, effervescent lemon verbena scent with exceptional lather built with the Simpson badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by the matching skin food splash. This is a fantastic soap but there was some irritation / burning noted with the splash. Not a deal breaker, but I may try diluting it on the next use.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: I had forgotten that we were off work today for Good Friday. Great practice last night! Things are coming together nicely.

We did. Fortunately we weren't hit but my dad said he watched a funnel cloud pass near the house. Me, my brother and our mom were in the hallway (the most interior part of the house). Dad move a box spring and mattress from one of the beds and made a lean-to for us to hide under. The two things that stick out most to me from that night were (1) the lightning. It was almost continuous and rattled the entire house and (2) my mom making us egg sandwiches to eat.
After that night we had a proper storm shelter built.

A late post but a great shave to start the day. Returned to my Valobra-era TAOS unscented shave soap. Exceptional lather built with the Omega synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & Clubman aftershave lotion.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Pretty chill day around the house. Storms moving in overnight. Hope it'll get rid of some of this pollen.

Going with a classic from NY rockers, Blue Oyster Cult. Hope you enjoy.
Skipped yesterday so today's shave was extra nice. Returned to Wet Shaving Products and their excellent "Gaelic Tweed" shave soap. Fantastic Creed GIT scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & Davidoff "Cool Water" aftershave splash & EdT.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Had some kind of stomach bug yesterday. Not fun. Feeling better today though.
