Razor: Henson AL13 + /Ti22 Handle
Henson: 10/14/2021 = 1652

Cella is not an everyday soap for me (not a fan of the scent) but I can't argue about is performance and post shave feel.

Unseasonably warm day; here in the midwest. Reached a high of 77F, which is about 20 degrees warmer than normal. Still 71F as I write this approaching 8:00PM.
Revisited a soap I wish I had purchased more of whilst Dennis was still in business. Provided a nice cooling effect for the warm day.

I found Cella to grow on me scent wise. However, my wife didn't like the smell of almonds from the dry down. I ended up giving it away. Have you tried the green vegan Cella? I've heard good things about it.

Still a nice shave, Akhi! The Cella does perform well.

My wife isn’t a fan of it either. I haven’t tried the vegan Cella but have heard good things about it.

Tabac Tuesday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Tabac Shave Soap
Jayaruh #454 Silvertip Badger
Schick Krona
Gillette Silver Blue
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Tabac After Shave

The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #454 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Krona razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It sure is. My wife has been cooking for days. Brisket, matzo ball soup, charoset, etc. We are looking forward to it. Chag Sameach Pesach, Akhim.

The same with my wife - because she’s Sephardic of Moroccan origin she’s been cooking up a storm but she’s also been making stuff like matzo ball soup with a recipe that my Mom, of dearly loved and cherished memory gave her. A lot of dishes she does are unknown to most Ashkenazim. Although I’m Israeli of Russian origin (I look one hundred percent Moroccan or even Yemenite!) I follow the Sephardic tradition and I daven like a Moroccan. Tomorrow night we’ll be celebrating the Seder at my in-laws and I’ll be reciting the Haggadah. The second night we’ll be doing it here!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Best shave of the week (thus far) today! Returned to The Cajun Blade and their excellent "Forét de Pins" shave soap. Great earthy, pine scent with a phenomenal lather built with the RajonCajonBrushes synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & vintage Avon "Deep Woods" aftershave lotion and EdC.

BBS bliss!!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Tabac Tuesday:

Hot shower with Tabac bath soap
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 9
Tabac SS
Lubriderm Moisturizer
Tabac Deodorant Spray
Tabac AS Splash

Such joy from a shower and a shave - for me it’s a HUGE pleasure to use Tabac. Everything about it is wonderful - the bath soap has the same delightful scent as the shaving soap, it leaves my skin spotlessly clean and so well moisturized. The Tabac shaving soap is a champion latherer, it’s so slick not to mention how skin friendly it is. The Lubriderm moisturizer added lots of extra soothing, the Tabac deodorant is so rich in that lovely scent, and finally the magnificent Tabac aftershave that I love so much. Three passes gave me an amazing BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

Wishing you all a great day - be well and stay safe!

That sounds lovely. I'm sure the Sephardic foods are delicious. My family on both sides are from Eastern Europe... Romania and Latvia. My wife's family is from Russia, Poland, and Romania. We'll be having sedar here with our son and my in-laws.

Enjoy Akhi!

My wife's family is from Hungary. Delicious food! My mother in law is cooking up a storm as we speak! I can't wait!
