Menthol Monday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Ingram Shave Cream
Jayaruh #476
Gillette Fat Handle Tech
Gillette Silver Blue
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Mennen Skin Bracer AS

This week I am using my pre-war Gillette Fat Handle Tech.

The Ingram Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #476 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Fat Handle Tech razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Menthol Monday’s Frigid Report:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 8
Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade SS
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade AS Splash

Guys, read the review that I wrote on this Glacial Strawberry Lemonade soap and you’ll know what I mean by how fantastic it is. The matching aftershave is equally as delightful. Another fabulous, bone chilling three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

Wishing you all a great week ahead - be well and stay safe!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wonderful shave with which to kick off the workweek. Returned to Ariana & Evans and their excellent Brut homage, "60's Cologne" shave soap. Great Old School scent with a super thick and slick lather built with the Ever-Ready badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & Brut aftershave lotion & EdT.

BBS bliss!!

Hope you have a great day. :)

As always, Stirling soaps perform phenomenally. The Gin & Tonic smells great. I love the smell of the juniper berries and lime.

The 6s with a Kai(4) on plate R2 tackled the 2 days of growth like it was effortless. Another great shave.

Nice shave Lantzman! You're definitely a Stirling fan! I really like the look of that brush!

Great shave, Lantsman! Did you make that trade with your son for his T1?
Todah Rabah Akhi! He hasn't picked one yet but he's got some great choices! I'm going to make a solid effort to use synthetics more often. I do have a brand new T3 that was actually a replacement Simpson sent me a few years ago. That one will be making an appearance soon.

Todah Rabah! Yes, I really enjoy Stirling. That brush is great. Nice weight, very soft, a great handle, and a very reasonable price when I bought it 2 years ago.

I hear the Trafalgar brushes are wonderful. I do not own any at this time. I've heard the T3 is a beast.
