I haven't made many new buys lately, but Malle is one of the houses I have been appreciating more lately, so when this came up on sale I went for it, and glad I did. Ok it's early day(s) but I think this is going be be my top lavender in the collection. We're talking the medicinal stuff, but Malle seems to have a way to make rough and raw, refined and that's what I get here. Reading reviews, everyone talks about the pineapple note, but it's not a major player, rather it helps give the lavender a darker almost amber quality, so this is not cruise shop to the Bahamas fruity lavender, rather much more feline. In fact it makes me think of Musc Ravageur in that regard. Anyway a top drawer lavender in my books.
A surprise new hit in my repertoire. I've smelled nothing like this and it has its own Allure and enigma, but was sadly discontinued. If anyone wants a true black/noir/dark scent, look no further.
