Thanks for your excellent posts.

Razor: Karve Brass OC C-Plate
Blade: Super-Max Blue Diamond Ti (1)
Brush: Shavemac Colonia No.1 Finest Badger 24/52

Shave Soap: Queen Charlotte Vetiver
Post: Thayer's Unscented Witch Hazel
Fine Fresh Vetiver After Shave

This morning I had a very good shave. The Super-Max Blue Diamond Ti paired excellently with the Karve OC C-Plate. Though they are very good blades, I just have a hard time believing they're actually titanium coated. I don't remember the price being that high.🤔

Thursday's Cold Water Shave
Fat February

Cold Water Rinse
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap
Jayaruh #292 HMW Badger
Gem Open Comb Damaskeene
Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Duru Cologne

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #292 HMW Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor and the Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thursday morning:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/new Perma Sharp
Brick SS
L’Oreal Men Expert Hydra Power Moisturizer
Brut Attraction Totale AS Splash

This Brick soap is from the Netherlands and it’s an in house product from a barber over there. It has a very nice scent that I can’t describe, it’s a pleasure to lather, it’s so slick, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The owner of the barbershop was shaving his customers with it and selling it to them but now he’s keeping it just for himself. The Hydra Power moisturizer is actually very soothing, and just a small amount is enough. The Attraction Totale aftershave smells quite nice - oyyyy, does it sting at first but then it feels great. The brand new Perma Sharp blade helped me get a dynamite three pass BBS shave that I really enjoyed!

Wishing you all a great day - be well and stay safe!

26 February, 2026

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Another phenomenal shave this morning easily beating out yesterday's! Returned to Floris London and the "Elite" line of grooming products. Fantastic green, soapy barbershop scent with a phenomenal lather built with the new @pipingtenor2570 synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by the matching aftershave balm & EdT. Again, zero feedback from the alum. "Best Shave of the Month" candidate this morning.

BBS bliss!!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Floris London / S. Tinker Brushworks / Karve / Gillette

Preshave hot shower
Razor: Parker variant open comb (setting 4 1/2 for with the grain, and again for against the grain, dialed down to 2 for my cleanup passes)
Blade: Accuforge (still haven't decided if I like these as much as the Personna lab blues)
Brush: Grizzly Bay Synthetic (new to me, picked up the brush on eBay for a steal, set a PAA Roswell knot that I has sitting around)
Lather: Wet the face Dirty Girls Betty (this is the first soap I've ever gotten from Don that just didn't have any smell to it. I use it as an unscented. He wanted to make it right by sending something else out, but I didn't want to bother. He's a great guy, and a small business, and every other soap I've received has been good to phenomenal)
Post shave Bloc Osma Alum, Thayer's Lemon witch Hazel
Aftershave: Wet the Face Dirty Girls Betty (this has minimal scent, maybe a touch of Bergamot, but not much, I'm just trying to use it up)
Fragrance: Seaforth Roman Spice (almost out of this, hope HoM starts the brand back up soon.)
Talc: Yardley Gentlemen's
