What a fun trip. That's on my bucket list. Beautiful scenery. My Bride and I spent a few days in London (and areas surrounding) and Ireland/Northern Ireland last fall
I hope you make it some day. It is one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. Local musicians often play in the small town pubs, and the music is great too. We visited the Titanic Museum in Belfast (on the site where the ship was constructed) and also a School of Falconry. It was the first and probably only time I've had a falcon land on my arm! So much to see and do there. We hope to return some day. What a fun trip. That's on my bucket list. Beautiful scenery.
I know this is an old post…but that’s museum is great….and the story of that harbour explosion is just astonishing. I seem to recall that there was a big growth of services for the blind in Halifax because so many people were standing looking out their windows at the vessel on fire in the harbour that when it exploded countless people were blinded by glass shards. We also went through their maritime museum which was better than we were both expecting with exhibits on the Titanic and a disastrous explosion that level much of the city in 1917.

Looks like a fun day.
Winery has many cool nods to Persepolis architecture. Is it Persian inspired on some other level or did the owners just like the ancient Persian vibe? It’s been much too long since we’ve been to Napa. First winery stop for Valentine’s Day.

The owner is Iranian. My father-in-law says he actually went to elementary school in Shiraz with him. We got to meet the owner once and asked, but he didn’t remember FIL. So tall tale or no, we won’t know.Winery has many cool nods to Persepolis architecture. Is it Persian inspired on some other level or did the owners just like the ancient Persian vibe?
