What’s new to you?

Can't go wrong with Pinaud aftershaves.... or Skin Bracer, which is in my Top 5.
Well, the brush was trash.

As for Pinaud and Skin Bracer, Pinaud I'm working my way towards as I try the private collection. So far, Brandy was disappointing and I have smelled but never used/experienced the Gin one but I remember liking it's sharper smell.

As for Mennen, I might try it on my next shave. I mean, cmon. It's America's oldest continuous aftershave brand (with conflicting points but shut up lol) and it makes you feel like a king.

All I'm missing is a small bottle of Aqua Velva to round out the gang of classic, iconic aftershaves

Picked up some various shaving stuff at my local CVS. These were all either on sale or had a coupon, and i had my rewards cash to burn.

Of course, if something doesn't work for me, I'll more than likely give it away, but I'm really looking forward to the Pinaud. There was one other aftershave, Varon Dandy? Looked interesting but I caught a whiff and ugh. It was pissy and smelled like baby powder after. Not for me.
Very nice haul! Love the pinaud! Decanting them in glass containers makes them smell even better!

But on a second note, I got something in that felt way too lucky to get ahold of. Not only was it vintage, but it was brand new, unopened, full sized, and way underpriced with an additional discount code.

Won't reveal it now as it'll be featured in an upcoming series I want to put out for the cadre (a sorta side journal) but I'll post a small teaser. Some older or more distinguished members may recognize what I have acquired by this alone. 1000001813.jpg

Wife found this cheap in a local vintage shop and presented it to me when I got home last night. Small but my first Rooney.

Will give it a clean but not sure if it'll be used or just displayed....
I've seen these in vintage Rooney shaving sets, they are very cool! I would bet the knot would be fine to shave with once cleaned. I've never found one that was at a good price to buy. Nice score!

Yeah after I figured out what it was (via image search) I had to ask her if any other parts of the set were there. Alas they were not.
Knot looks good and I probably should give it a go. Ok ok I will...

Well well, look who's back. Picked up some cheap goodies (or really inexpensively)

Cannot WAIT to give it a whirl

On the left is rugger by avon in a semi rare decanter and the left is avon electric pre shave lotion, which was thrown in as a free gift as I've worked with the seller before.

Picked up the one at the left at my sephora while looking for a good face wash. After talking and mentioning shaving, the employee recommended it to me and mentioned it could even build a lather to shave with. On the right, found it at ross for clearance. It looked interesting, and it's unscented. I wonder if some members have tried or even heard of Phil's?

Lastly, 2 new things. Won't say as it's apart of my bigger thing, but these two images could give it away easily if a member is familiar.
