Embarkation day today. Curious if we’ll have Thanksgiving dinner on Monday. If it were up to the taxi driver that brought us from the airport that would be a no. He was telling us how
Halloween is coming up this weekend and when we mentioned Canadian Thanksgiving his response was “what?”. We went back and forth a few times with this thick-accented man. He truly had no idea what we were talking about. I gave him Sam’s number and told him to call and ask about it.

Weather modification is not a weather preventative however, the hurricane hunters are known to drop zinc oxide in the hurricanes as wellIf weather modification is so advanced, why the hurricanes and tornadoes?

Well, shaving wise I did try out the gym locker room the first morning. Pic of showers and the nice sea view below. They didn’t have a little anti-room to the shower for changing and just a tiny shelf to balance the Dopp kit, towels, and clothes. There was more space to spread out around the sink than our stateroom. The gym is also on the opposite end on the ship than our room, so I’ve been shaving in our room since then and switched to the shave stick for speed and convenience. High speed low drag as one might say. Today and yesterday we got into port at 7am, but tomorrow is later in the morning so I might give the gym another shot.

last of the travel shaves. Storm blew through and our flight was delayed and then not delayed as much. Should be getting home around midnight. If you tuned into the last Drinks & Daves, you know I’m going to invest in a robot that vacuums and mops. I have one picked out that’s been on sale and was just waiting for this morning to order so it wasn’t sitting outside the house on a day the youngest was running around all day. Well balls. The sale ended yesterday. I’m figuring it will Black Friday before it goes on sale again.
