Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Going with a couple of classics today from CCR. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 43

Continued incredible shaves from the Williams soap. Excellent lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with a splash of Thayers cucumber witch hazel, followed by Mäurer & Wirtz "Irisch Moos" aftershave lotion, a dusting of Clubman talc and Knize "Knize Forest" EdT.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Feeling a lot better today. Had been running a fairly high fever the last few days. Normal for me is about 97.8° and I was spiking up to 102°. Leg is doing some better. Less pain but it's still swollen. Had a big dose of IV antibiotics at the ER yesterday and taking the prescriptions I was given. Hoping to get this knocked out soon.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

It's "Find Your Own Music Tuesday" so pick something great! Sorry, but I have to post and get back in bed with my leg elevated..

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 44

Quick, two-pass shave this morning to limit the time on my feet. Pretty much the same setup with the Williams Menthol soap, PAA synth, '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" loaded with a Gillette Platinum blade. Finished with alum, some Quinn's witch hazel and Superior 70 Bay Rum which I decanted into a vintage Seaforth Dominican Bay Rum bottle. No frag today.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Continued feeling better. Swelling and redness has decreased in the afflicted limb. Slow progress is still progress. Right? Crystal is at the doctors getting the stitches removed from her hand surgery.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A couple from the British Prog Metal band, Tesseract. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 45

Another quick, two-pass shave this morning. Again, pretty much the same setup with the Williams Menthol soap, PAA synth, '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" loaded with a Gillette Platinum blade. Finished with alum, some Jack Black Post Shave Cooling gel. No frag again today.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Continuing on with the healing process. Leg / foot is doing much better today. Can stand to put weight on it longer and longer each day. Right now the roughest part is hour after hour relegated to my recliner with the leg propped up. Don't understand how anyone could do that day after day.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Going with a couple from the British rockers, Killing Joke. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 46

Felt well enough today for a full three-pass shave with stellar results. Same cast of characters with the Williams Menthol soap, PAA synth, '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" loaded with a Gillette Platinum blade. Finished with alum, Thayers Cucumber witch hazel and vintage Avon "Everest" aftershave lotion. No frag again today.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: One full week since this all started. Still not fully over it but there has been great progress.

Hope you have a great day. :)
