Well today was a great shave. Using Razorock's interpretation of Creed Green Irish Tweed which is my favorite Creed scent. This one is a winner! I really enjoy it. The scent is pretty similar to the real deal. Overall the shave was BBS.

Homefront:

Yesterday's game was a disgrace to the name football. We had a full on brawl that led to 5 kids being ejected and one player trying to punch our white hat, which thankfully he dodged. All this started because there was a hold during a kickoff, that we had a flag on! Both of these teams did not have the season they wanted and I think they just took frustrations out on each other. As a crew we opted to head over to a nearby Texas Roadhouse and have dinner and fill out the post game report. The only reason we didn't just call the game a forfeit is because the coaches on both sides actually handled it all really well. But we called both teams in after the brawl and made it very clear, one more late hit or even anything that we deem as dirty we would walk off the field and call the game early. I hope tonight's game is much better.
 
Dang, that's not something you want to see. Sometimes the emotions of teenagers though.......
 
Question. When violence turns to the ref, does it ever become a legal matter with players getting charged with assault? It seems at that point it's left the realm of the game.

Officials are untouchable. Not only if a player or coach touches us are they suspended for 3 games, it is grounds for termination for the coaches. If it reaches the level of assault our Union Lawyer has instructed that charges will be pressed to the fullest extent of the law. Let's just say the kid is lucky his punch didn't land. And since it was the last game of the season the suspension carries over to next year or the next sport he plays. We found out he Wrestles also. So he will miss the first 3 meets of the season.

It is a shame to see that kind of display of sportsmanship...after all...sports are supposed to teach kids respect and how to work with each other while being competitive. But these things happen. As long as no one got hurt the coaches should be able to use this as a teachable moment. But safety is always first. They are kids so I won't judge too harshly. Kudos to you and the other refs for letting the game to continue. It would have been hard for the kids to not have their last game of the year.

I agree Don. Always a shame when things like this happen. Thankfully it was handled well, and control of the game was quickly brought back to where it needed to be.

Well another fun shave today. The Tabac just will not disappoint again. Or will it??? The shave went well no cuts or nothing however I present my SOTD Pic



Yup it died earlier than expected. And in this photo you can clearly see the chip in the glass that got me earlier in the month. So I will be replacing the whole jar. Time to find the best deal on the webs!

Homefront:
I am exhausted! Last night the game was in South Ogden Utah which is normally 50 min away. I had to leave at 4 PM due to afternoon traffic and arrived just barely at 5:25PM good thing because pre-game started at 5:30PM. Kick off was at 7PM, and I got home around 11PM. Up early for work today had to be in at 6:30AM. Anyways for the last regular season game of the year it was a fun one. A rivalry between two team separated by 10 miles, and it came down to the wire. What a way to end the season. Also seeing as the back door neighbor to the school is US Hill Airforce Base they gave us a little show before the game started that was NEAT! Anyways time to go find some coffee. Have a good one cadre.
 
Finally! You finished up that stinky stuff! Late nights and early mornings are no fun...but I am sure you get back into the swing of it!
 
Wow, I don't think I've ever seen an empty Tabac jar before. I might have to try to make one of those...

Thanks Chris. Was a little hectic at the office but not horrible. Reviewing new site location possibilities. I have a favorite for personal reasons but not sure it will win.
