TSC Watch List

Interesting. What's the main reason behind a watch being filled with oil?
It makes the case incompressible so it becomes water resistant to way deeper. And underwater it removes the Crystal reflection to improve readability. I saw a picture of another oil filled watch and wanted to try one. It won’t work with mechanical watches because the escapement isn’t strong enough. I tried one other quartz movement and it wasn’t strong enough either. This one has a Miyota movement and, so far it works fine. But when the battery dies I’ll probably need to pitch it. Too stinking messy to do again.

Gotcha. Look forward to your bathtub pics showing how it works.
