I really like the cigar shop scent AND I really like the leather/gunpowder but getting them to work together was tough. The leather scent I used is actually a combination of 2 types of leather, one is very powerful the other is more subdued. Gunpowder is a scent that i can feel in the back of my throat as much as I can smell it, have to be very careful with that one. Perhaps my plans for a gunpowder and leather should be pushed up.
My goal was to make the cigar shop cowboy everything I wanted (except for vetiver, which was included in earlier test versions) in a scent. I would love it if it were declared a classic but i think it is unlikely that will happen.

I am very hit and miss on tobacco scented soaps. This one seems like something I would like...but I guess I will have to try it to be sure. I see another order in the horizon!

Have you smelled the Sweet Briar Tobacco from Mystic Waters? That is probably my favorite tobacco scented soap. Once a soap gets that smokey vibe i'm a no go. I went back last night and did night lather with the sample of the cowboy you sent and I think that is what's putting me off. There is a hint of smoke to my nose not sure what scent you used would potentially provide that. But maybe I would like the Indian instead.

Well I knew once KJ @Spider talked about scent of Carnation I knew I had to get a tub. And I am glad I did. This scent is awesome! And actually very manly. Although my wife might steal it. I think she is going to also give it a go, so watch out Chris the ladies might start requesting scents too! I had a very good shave, minus one small nic on the very lower part of my neck, but all is good, it didn't even weep. I wrapped up the shave with Stetson and I smell great I LOVE Stetson it is definitely a favorite of mine!

Well I am NOT very happy about the football game yesterday and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the actual game. We were originally going to do a double header yesterday. But instead they cancelled the JV game and told us we were only doing the Sophomore game. Okay no big deal. We get there and ask the athletic director, "Hey why did you cancel the other game." He responds, "we didn't cancel it the other team did." Then I get home and I see this article on the local news https://kutv.com/news/local/signs-of-norovirus-cancel-highland-junior-varsity-football-game
There has been a VERY bad strain of the Norovirus going around in Utah right now. So bad that they are basically demanding that if you contract it you are home while sick, and then 3 days after symptoms. Why not just cancel both games? If the JV squad has it, I guarantee the Sophomore squad has it. They all practice together, lift together, etc. I am also mad that he blatantly lied to us. Anyway I digress and move forward. I have a game tonight and hoping it goes well. Have a good day Cadre.

Oh man, playing with fire when it comes to things like the norovirus! The insensitivity of some people with sickness is just crazy. I meant, I know it’s inconvenient and life doesn’t halt when you’re sick, but why risk inducing that on someone else?
