Homefront:

Well at the home everything is going well. Kids are starting to finally adjust to the school schedule but both are pretty tired come evening time. So bedtime has been moved up 30 minutes and both kids had been more enjoyable during the day. Sadie continues to be a handful and has started to really get into dolls. Her baby doll is with her everywhere now. I am going to need help she is turning into a girly girl and I already have my hands full.

Anyways football today so out of the office early. Hope you all have a great day!

Good shave Chad! And enjoy the Girly Girl years...becuase soon she will get into the uber-independent girly girl years!

Good job Chad. So what kind of comments did you get from coworkers and Megans reaction afterwards?

Took Megan a few minutes before she finally realized. She is torn on it. Because she hated the growth in the beginning but about 3 months ago she stated that she was really starting to like it. My admin assistant asked me to grow it back at the end of the day yesterday. Other co-workers were indifferent but after wearing it for a year it does feel nice to remove it.

My wife hated mine before i started using beard balms and oils and actually giving a rip about it. My oldest son hated it too. Now i have been instructed to grow it a bit wider and keep it longer because it tickles him instead of "prickleing" (7 year old word) him and my wife says it is much much softer now.

Trying to grow something when not on vacation sucks for us guys with lower growth rates. We need a running start to get something going!

I guess if you start now, you’ll have something decent going to November!

Yeah, I heard you say she got used to it in the video so wondered. My stepdad had 1 forever (mustache) that when he shaved it, the congregation we attended was up in arms and very vocal he should grow it back. His is thick and he looks good in one. Has had it ever since.

Nice shave!

When I met the wife I was clean shaved. Told her I was going to grow a mustache and she said no. So I did it. She got used to it and I told her I was going to shave it off. She said no, so I did it. Later told her I was going to grow at goatee and was told no, so I did it. I have threatened to shave it off, but she likes it and is a better shot than she used to be.

Quite the rebel husband there Tim, more power to ya!

Great couple of shaves, Chad. I totally agree with you on the scent and performance of the Rosa Bourbonia, and I really need to pick up some 4711

Yea when I purchased and started using balms it got much softer. I actually really enjoyed that ritual in the morning. I kind of miss it now.

Yea it takes me awhile!

My dad has had a moustache forever. Every now and then he shaves it off and it throws us ALL off.

Nice shave!

Soap/cream: Declaration Grooming Shore Icarus Base
Brush: Envy Shave Ute Brush

Aftershave2: Declaration Grooming Shore

Well today I decided to revisit the Shore scent from Dec Grooming. The scent is quickly becoming a favorite and the performance is still amazing! As to the aftershave. UGH the aftershave. I want to love it I really do. But it is so tacky! I need to figure something out. I am thinking of adding some denatured alcohol or some witch hazel to try and cut it down. I'm not sure. Any ideas from the cadre?

Homefront:

Well it is friday and boy do I need it! After the double header yesterday I am more tired today than I should be. Which means a nap is in order before heading to the game this evening. Yesterday I did have an ejection pretty uneventful in all honesty but an ejection nonetheless. Which meant paperwork last night BOO!!! No film because it was a JV game but here is what happened. Offensive team has been having success running a bubble screen. And in the 3rd quarter the defense was finally getting familiar with it. So the corners started cheating up. For those of you that don't know football terminology, bubble screen is a quick pass to the outside usually backwards, but sometimes forwards. The defense was ready for it on this particular play, and hot head receiver was made that the pass was broken up, so he started pushing the defensive player after the play. I holler, "hey back to the huddle!" Defensive player is hands in the air trying to walk away and then boom! Receiver loads up, and throws a punch hard at the defender. Here flies the flag! A punch is an automatic ejection. This was an easy one. We notified the coach, ejected the player, and the game went on without any further incident.

Hope you all have a great friday!

Have you tried just keeping your face and hands moderately wet for applying the AS?

Way to lay down the law in that game Chad! Thankful it didn’t erupt into something bigger.

Thanks Chris and that's a good idea. I'll try it.
