I took a week off from making videos because I was pretty busy with some major deadlines at work and I wanted some shaves just for myself.

This video is over a week old and I was being a bit lazy about posting it. I’ll take several this week including shaves with razors from @MilkCrate and @novicewetshaver .

Brush: Sorentino brushwork’s synthetic
Soap: TDS Cosmetics Anise
Aftershave: Nivea 2-in-1
Balm: Nivea Sensitive Cooling
Strop: SRD ROO 20/60 pre-shave & 20/40 post shave

Blade needs a little bit more time on the Jasper... @MilkCrate it shaved well, but I know it could be better! What kind of edges do you like? Lasers or smooth?

Scent notes by TDS: Anise scent. Light menthol.

Not much else to say, smells like black licorice with a slight amount of menthol.

Good shave there, Matt. I’m still chuckling over The Refinements remark. I’ve enjoyed the soap collection you’ve worked through. I’ve got my own recent purchases to work through. About 25 of them, but I take one on the road at a time, so it will take close to six months to work through them. Wow, saying it like that shocks me.

Watching Matt shave with your edge, that clearly is an outstanding edge. Was it just me or did anyone else notice the pass across the cheek that had no feedback because there was nothing left to cut.
