The Process-
Early morning shave and I had to try this soap again. The post shave feel was just that good! Went with a longer handled brush because ... well why not? Once again the soap lathered quickly and I had a ton of lather going on.

40 laps on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Man oh man, that was another great shave. Today I walked away DFS, but that’s on me. My usual trouble spot gave me some trouble. It’s all good.

Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. Followed that with a glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! I forgot about the menthol in the splash, and it will sure wake you up. Good stuff right there and I’m ready for the work week. Life is good!

Interesting...sounds carefully planned to happen now during the virus, though they’ve been declining for some years? I wonder if they’re doing any bailouts over there. At least the workers got some pay out of it I guess.

Stirling One AS

The Process-
Early morning shave to start the day off right. On deck today is Stirling One, which I haven't used before. I've had the soap for a while, but just scored the matching AS yesterday. This soap is a cologne scent inspired by D&G The One. The soap features notes of: bergamot, coriander, basil, cardamom, ginger, neroli, cedar, ambergris and tobacco. Luckily I found the scent notes listed on the web because my untrained nose has nothing for you. The scent starts out strong and the scent stays throughout the lather. Good stuff. Went with a 30 second load time and the boar did a bang up job. You know it whipped up a nice lather ... it's Stirling.

I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was a very nice shave and I am BBS for the win! Oh yeah, easy peasy shave! Love the performance of the Stirling soaps, it is always consistent and never fails to deliver. Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. Followed that with a healthy splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! The AS matches the soap very well and there is no heavy alcohol scent when first applied. To my nose, the soap and splash have a complex but warm scent to it. I'm digging this scent and it's missus approved. That is always a good thing. As I write this in early afternoon, I still catch whiffs of the AS. Life is good!

Home Front-
Not much to report today, just work. And I'm not complaining about that, I am thankful to have a job. The oil market is and will be hitting Texas hard, which does make me nervous though. We had storms blow through early this morning. We lost power 3 times while I was shaving. The forecasters say there will be worse storms blowing in the evening, fun ... fun. Have a few honey-do's around the house, but nothing major. I think that's all I have for you today.

PdP #63 ASB

The Process-
Yup, you guessed it, an early morning shave. And I had another one of those indecisive mornings ... with PdP 63 getting the nod. That was a good choice. A 30 second load time whipped up a bunch of later and I got down to business. The lather did start out a bit pasty, but that was easily corrected with a bit of water. The PdP has a nice warm scent that continues through the shave too.

I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. I almost felt guilty for going with the easy, peasy DE shave. Almost, because it was worth it. I had a great shave and scored a BBS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. Then a smear of the ASB and everything was right as rain! The one thing I don't care for with PdP is the ASB. I would prefer to have a splash, but it is what it is. Still digging the scent. Life is good!

Home Front-
More new Covid19 cases in our county. Other that that, I got nothing for ya.
