The Process-
Late morning shave today ... IKR? I can't believe it, I hit snooze this morning and was running late. So I had to put my shave off for just a bit. Anyway, I had Ethos back on deck today because Pineapple just sounded nice on this overcast messy weather day. This soap base is a bit soft, so I scoop a bit out and lather it up in my copper bowl. It doesn't take much and I started with damp brush and threw water at it as needed. It whipped up a really nice lather that smelled great.

40 laps on leather this morning. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was a really enjoyable shave and I am BBS for the win! Oh yeah! The slickness and residual slickness worked well and I just enjoyed the moment. Wrapped everything up with a post shave lather while cleaning shave gear. Then a quick rinse and pat dry. A healthy splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! To my untrained nose, I still smell a green type of scent when I first apply this. Maybe it's some of the botanical stuff ... I don't know. But it fades quickly and the Pineapple, although subtle, stays with you for a while. Life is good!

The Process-
Early morning shave ... oh yeah! I don't know, but it just seemed like a good day for Agar and I was right. Had the boar just damp and went with my usual 30 second load time. Whipped up a really nice lather and I am digging the scent of this set. And it's Stirling, so I don't have to tell you about the performance. So far, the boar is doing really well and hasn't shed in some time.

Skipped the leather and opted for a DE today, just because. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. A great shave was had and I am DFS for the win! That wasn't on me this morning, that was the blade. I don't think I even have 10 shaves on this edge yet and it is fading. Oh well, that was a good run on a vintage blade. So into the bin with that one. Wrapped everything up with a post shave lather while cleaning shave gear. Then a quick rinse and pat dry. A glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! The AS opens with what I guess is a real strong alcohol smell, but it fades quickly and settles in for a great dry down. Yup ... I dig this scent. This one I would prefer to be a bit stronger, but it it what it is. Life is good!

Home Front-
Today is Thursday My Friday, so just wrapping things up. I don't know why, but I am ready for a long weekend. Lawn mowing and other fun honey-dos are on desk this weekend. I'm sure there is some other fun stuff in there somewhere.

The Process-
Mid morning shave today, just because. For some reason I was really indecisive on what scent to go with today, which is odd for me. But eventually, The Stallion got the nod. I think I’ve only used it once or twice because I’m not real sure about the scent. I think part of it may be too powdery for me and the scent smells heavily synthetic. Like the scent they put in an industrial cleaner to mask the chemical smell. Or maybe my nose is odd. Anyway it lathered very well. I used the Vulfix which I am back and forth on because it can be prickly. I’ve read that’s normal for low end “pure” badger. But today it did well for me. I was also trying something new as far as adding water to the brush that worked very well.

40 laps on leather and it was time to get down to business. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Well ... maybe just a little. I did get a small nick on my Adams Apple, but the bleed stopped with a quick rinse. Other than that it was all good and I’m BBS for the win! The soap base does fine for an SR shave. Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. Followed that with a glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! You know it folks. The AS has a slightly different scent to it. Maybe not as harsh smelling as the soap. But it lit me up. The missus looked at me and wanted to know what went wrong. I guess this maybe a reaction or something because I am all red. In spite of that, I’m ready for the day. Life is good!

Home Front-
Got my clippers honed up and I’m no longer a Chia pet. Have a mower repair and then mowing. And I’m sure a few other honey-do’s will pop-up. Have a great day!

The Process-
@Smattayu put the Florida Water idea in my head, so it got the nod. Late morning shave and I am trying a new soap, Haslinger. I read people’s thoughts on it and finally got my hands on it, thanks KJ! So I dropped that puck in the OS mug and got to it. My gosh, I went after it with a damp brush and the lather exploded. I think this one is Marigold, which is a very light scent. Did I mention that it whipped up a ton of lather?

40 laps on leather and it was time to get down to business. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was an outstanding shave and I am BBS for the win! I lost the scent every once and again, but it is slick. Man oh man.
