NO VIDEO today so as not to overly burden @dangerousdon !!!
Stellar shave with @LNHC Doc Holiday and the .84 GC OC. I had to check what blade was in it and found the well used Gillette Rubie which was still sharp and efficient but still time to change so @NurseDave will think my shaves are full of luxuriousness. Topped with Vintage Brut. Some studying to d today and wait on the Cable Guy at 1 for the internet install. Have a great day Cadre !!

Great shave today with @LNHC Smoked Black Tea. Couple things learned from today's shave for me. 1st the Razor and Blade, I never got along with Gem razors when using the Drug Store bought Treet blades. Got this G Bar razor for $3 at a Flea Market and thought I'd try it and instead of finishing a tuck of the Treet went with the Personna Gem Blades. What a difference !! I was comfortable enough to chase a little and got a few weepers in the typical for me around the mouth area, but they sealed by end of post shave applications. I decided to use a post shave balm/serum and went with Lisa's (I have hers Elixir and A&E's Post Serum) have to say I much prefer Lisa's Elixir as it goes on and absorbs quickly leaving no greasy feel. A&E's is good but a little more feel that it's not totally absorbed and "in" my skin rather than "on" my skin. Will I reach for the G Bar razor often. Probably not, but I will use it from time to time. Will I reach for LNHC Elixir often, well I don't normally need a post shave balm. But when I do, I'm glad I have her's in the den and prefer it as a 1st choice. Off to coffee and last 2 muffins while perusing the forum. Have a great day Cadre !!!
