What are your “Elite” soaps?

The more I use Sudsy Soapery Blizzard, the more it edges it's way to my #1 elite soap. Their tallow formula is amazing. Slickness and post shave is unparalleled. It is making me want to buy the Uplift scent. The only problem is the reviews stating it smells like Lemon Pledge, which I assume is a bad thing. I've never smelled it. Any feedback from anyone who has used it?
P.S. I'm probably going to buy it anyway.

If I recall correctly @dangerousdon may have it.

I have Uplift. I don't think it smells like wood cleaner at all. It is more natural than that...but it is on the sweet side of things. I believe there are some samples of it in the soap sample swap. But if you would like I can send you a sample of it.

I have an old stick of Irisch Moos that I use from time to time. I used it yesterday on a 3 day stubble and it was pure joy. That lather was as good as anything I’ve ever used. Tabac uses the same soap formula, but I wish they still made something that smells better.

Sudsy Soapery indeed is a very very excellent soap IMO!! I especially LOVE their Citrus & Bay as well as Lavender & Peppermint (in the vegan base).

I used Uplift the other day for the second time. The scent is lemon based but has a tart grapefruit component to it as well--I confirmed this by taking a look at the label when I sensed something beyond lemon. This is a very nice soap and I can understand why you like Sudsy Soapery tallow so much. This particular scent is a nice, simple lemon/citrus. Not artificial. If that sounds like it would appeal to you I would not let someone else's spin dissuade you.

I have had SS Uplift since late last Summer & it is a bright lemon for sure and a superb soap as are their non-tallow soaps. The best smelling in their lineup are the White Sage & Lime and their Lavender & Peppermint. I have not smelled Blizzard nor their brand new Top O' The Morning soaps however.

My elite list includes the aforementioned SS as well as A&E, B&M (all lines), DG Icarus and Lisa's Herbal Creations Artisan shave soaps. I have tried Grooming Dept. from two different tubs and IMO it is overrated. YMMV.
