We are stopping over on Marathon key. There were chickens walking around in the restaurant area. Pretty cool, but apparently they aren’t allowed to catch and eat the chickens. Here are a few pictures from along the way. Can’t smoke cigars in any public areas, front or rear porch, or fenced back yard. Feeling a little frustrated.
Wait.....are you.....following the RULES!!!???? Who is this? And how did you hack Rich's profile?

I would like to hear your feedback about Key West. I lived in FL for a number of years. The commercialism and crowds turned us off. There was an artisan soap merchant on Duval St. She sold what she claimed was shaving soap. It isn't. It smells great but makes horrible, watery lather.

I liked Islamorada and Marathon the best. If you get a chance, you may want to try the Marker 88 Restaurant in Islamorada. The Hogfish is fantastic.

Key west is kind of a tourist trap with little bits of the old days mixed in. You gotta get in with a local to point you to the good happy hours and food and stuff. Lots of cigar stores with pretty good (for fresh rolled) cigars. Before we head home I may pick up a few to put in the igloodor.
