Same here. I love the dark Maduros.
The pipe smoked perfectly, however balsa filters. Not so much, but was worth a try
My experiences with filters in general have been marginal at best. They seem to make for a wet smoke.
I only use them in one pipe I have, it is a small bent pipe that smokes wet and has an annoying whistle. When I use one of the balsa filters it helps. But that is the only pipe I use a filter in.
Your days off have 24hrs in them like the rest of us. Right?All this talk of dark cigars has me wanting one, but I have a new pipe to try too. Why am faced with so many hard choices.
