FINAL Round in the 3 Round Title Fight, Pitting Challenger Assured Razor of Unknown Vintage against the '61 Fat Boy, and the '46/7 Aristocrat.
This is the acid test for the upstart Assured entry. The Aristocrat is my favorite razor in my Vast Collection of four DEs and one Schick injector (haven't used it yet).
The Final Shave
The Aristocrat performed admirably, besting the FB by a whisker. All other variables remained constant; it was an unused Assured blade. BBS, no irritation, no weepers.
The Vote
After spirited debate, the judges reached a unanimous decision:
1 - 0 - 0
The Winner
Assured Razor/Blade combination!
This was not an easy decision, only one vote separated the winner from the losers. However, in manufacturing, craftsmanship, and quality, the
Assured Razor easily stands alone.
Assured Blades separate themselves from the crowded field of sharp blades. The combination of razor and blade provide wet shavers the world over an
Unparalleled Shaving Experience. There is one more characteristic the Assured Razor has above the competition: it's
Shiny! In fact, the judges would like to suggest a new marketing strategy:
Assured Razors
Buy 2, they're Shiny !!
Cadre, the verdict is in, and the long-raging debate is settled. Once again, Science leads the way to The Truth.
Thank you all for allowing me to participate in this memorable endeavor. I owe a special debt of gratitude to Mr GearNoir, without whom I would not have taken up this challenge, and to Mr Spider, who donated the winning razor and blades.
