Straight Razor of the day

Well I meant the shaving edge. That looks gold as well.
Nope I looked with a handheld microscope and I don't see gold plating on the bevel. Of course there will be some minor scratches in the gold plating , but I don't mind that, it's not a museum piece, it's a piece which get used. Those scratches seems inevitable because of the slurry during honing because I prefer natural stones.

Torrey is my favorite American straight razor company. I found this one on the bay months ago, then promptly forgot about it since I wasn't using traditional straights at the time. Glad I got over that phase.
