Beautiful shave today Dave! That brush is amazing as are the fantastic scales and emblem on the MK30! Cheers! That Duracell battery is a great way to show off a soap lid, I'll have to remember this technique!

Today's workday shaves with this razor after putting it through the 3 re-lapped & refreshed pasted balsa strops was just ok. Although the edge was keen, smooth & comfortable enough, managed 2.5passes for a mostly ccs result with some red spots.

Decided to put this razor through the Naniwa 12k because some part of the edge seems to be 'damaged' after hitting my glasses during the last use. Overall was not satisfactory. 2.5passes for a ccs result.

Using this razor paired with the blade was just so easy, ultra-smooth, effortless, and more efficient than any true straights I owned, sigh...how to get an edge like this...3passes for a dfs+ result without any issues... it's just awesome!
