Love the custom scales, I need to make a set with this Acrylic!
Hey, thanks! This was indeed a unique ordered custom as I love the transparent colors. I wish I am like you and able to make scales or even hone razors anytime...hahaha. I have a few more razors incoming with custom scales...
 
Razor Titan ACRM-2 Madagascan Mahogany Timber Scales
This razor with an initial cnat edge was put through the HBA and the roo leather. The shave was at an acceptable level of smoothness and comfort but I prefer a crispier keener edge. Wow, that razor has quite a bit of personality…in beautiful patina as well as stamped words!
 
Thank you. I'm not a fan of "patina" myself. I call it "rusty old crap" instead. For me the desired look is shiny. Still, I haven't decided if I want to completely restore this one as it just mainly has staining and not pits. But, it had languished for a while in the drawer having a few chips in the edge. I was looking for something that was a bit of a journey to hone. I find honing meditative and this one was a good one for that.
