Well I thought this might be fun...
So...
Anybody have anything on their wish list ??
Something you have always wanted to try but haven't , or maybe tried it only once but would love to again..
Maybe its out of your price range or isn't available in your area.

I don't think it is currently available in my area but since they have worked out logistics with a distributor I might get a chance.

Just a couple on my wish list.
Fred is just one I’m interested in.
Then there’s of course the MDC just a little pricey right now.

Old Forester Birthday Bourbon
George T. Stagg
Weller Larue
Eagle Rare 17 year

Those are 4 that I probably will never get an opportunity to buy.

I agree.. Are you wanting the Non American Versions??

Portugal has some that is very good.
( My wife and I had some at Dragon Con from Portugal and it was excellent.)

The united States version was cut to make it legal in the US.

The amount of wormwood was cut to the same amount as
Jägermeister here in America..

Don't know. I dont' know much about it. I'd heard a lot of the regulation have been dropped, and you can get good stuff here, but I'm ot sure. Every time I see it in the store it's too pricey to gamble on it.

Yes you can Legally purchase "absinthe" in the US But you can also order it online from other countries and are Not bound by the silly lower amount of thujone from the wormwood...
This site tells more...

there are some pretty decent versions in the US.. Let me check and see with my wife when she gets home about which brands of US stuff we have gotten and I will let you know.. Remember though that you better really LOVE Licorice flavored stuff if you were gonna get into it....
