Hi everyone
It's been several years since I last used Gillette Platinum blades. They are NOS made in Russia and was happy to find them on Amazon. A fantastically smooth shave!

2 days of growth easily handled by the Henson AL-13+ mild. This was my first use of the Kent Shaving Soap Puck. It is very similar to Mitchell's Wool Fat, but has a more floral scent to it. I will need to use it more to see if it's a keeper. I love the scent of MWF. Oh how I wish it was still being made. 3 passes and I am BBS smooth.

Thanks for your post. I find the Gillette Platinums smooth (and sharp) also.

That’s a great way to describe the scent. I do like the updated Kent soap. I’ve used it enough to feel that it is a keeper. For me I think the lanolin is the secret sauce. I do enjoy it but I prefer the lighter MWF scent.

Unbelievable is the way to describe this B&M Spice soap - the scent is just about 100% exactly like the Shulton Old Spice soap that was so loved by many guys including myself, the lather is such a pleasure to work up, it’s super slick, and the post-shave feeling is so comfortable. Will really hit a Grand Slam with this one. The Lubriderm moisturizer wasn’t really necessary but since it’s part of my routine I used it and as always it felt so soothing. Finally the gorgeous Stirling Spice fragrance and that’s it - a couple of rounds of golf with some friends of mine. Another fun filled three pass BBS shave that was so awesome!
