I wanted to mention that Michelle Burns from Mystic Water popped into out
Mystic May thread. I encourage you to stop by and say hello to Michelle and ask her any questions you may have. She really is a wonderful person, on top of being a talented artisan. It has been wonderful to part of Mystic May and to be introduced to TSC. I have enjoyed getting to know some of you and to see and read your cool SOTDs.
It is supposed to be a bit colder this weekend before heating up some next week. This is a good time to use Orange Vanilla from Mystic Water. It smells sweet (though not cloying) and some days it leans more citrus and some days it leans more vanilla. The scents are incredibly natural and focused. This is not candy, this is real orange, tangerine, and vanilla. As Michelle says, “Sweet orange and tangerine peel essential oils blended with Madagascar vanilla. The soap turns brown due to the vanilla content.”
I am not a huge fan of the Lucky Tiger aftershave anymore, but I will finish this bottle. I have been craving a more orange focused citrus aftershave, but I am not entirely sure what that might be. Perhaps Eleven will have something for me to check out. I have been pleased with their balm and very impressed by their use of citrus essential oils. However, their base isn’t so great in my opinion. Still, it is nice to think there might be more that I can purchase from them. I love to support folks from the Midwest. The Black Watch is lovely and I enjoy having a chance to wear it whenever I can.
Have an awesome day, friends!
