Between Mystic May every other day, samples, and new purchases, it has been far too long to be away from my beloved Mike’s Natural. Not just Mike’s Natural, but my favorite scent, Bay Rum, my favorite shave soap of all time. Maybe I should have done a Mike’s and Mystic May.

Have an awesome day, friends!

Another great shave with the 6s on plate 3 handled the 1 day of growth. I decided to load my brush from the tub instead doing what I normally do... scooping from the tub into the bowl. I built a fabulous lather that easily worked into my beard. Another BBS finish.

Friday morning:

Warm shower
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 6
Shulton Old Spice SC (from India)
Stirling Spice ASB

Well, I found this tube of Old Spice cream in my wife’s bathroom (we both have our own bathrooms!) so I decided to give it a bash and I’m happy that I did. Although I’d much rather find my Old Spice mug with a half used puck in it along with my two NOS backup pucks this cream still smells and performs great. The Stirling Spice balm delivered such a wonderful, soothing post-shave feeling along with that beautiful Shulton Old Spice scent. For some reason I felt like being fragrance free today so I just put on a little Speed Stick deodorant. Three glorious passes gave me a great BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Wishing you all a nice weekend - be well and stay safe!

Friday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Williams Mug Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Schick J3 Golden 500
Personna Injector Blade
CWR
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Brute After Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did two passes with the Schick J3 Golden 500 razor with a Personna injector blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Brute Classic After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave with which to close out the workweek! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Blue Lotus" shave soap & splash. A truly wonderful scent and lather built with the WWBW synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash & CBL Premium Barber Powder.

BBS bliss!!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Razor Merkur 47C
Blade 5th use Feather (think it's about run it's course. Nice shave; no mishaps, nicks etc. But it just feels like it's on the downswing)
Lather Cooper & French Santa's Workshop (*A bit chilly today, so I dipped into my winter scents)
Post shave Osma Bloc Alum
Cooper & French Santa's Workshop aftershave balm (I usually don't reach for balms, prefer splashes and witch hazel toners; but man, this stuff is really good. Super absorbant, and leaves the skin feeling fine)
Have a great weekend Gents!!!!

Shabbat Shalom and Shavuot Sameach! We're having blintzes for dinner. Im looking forward to it. How about you?
I don’t know - we’re going to my in-laws for Shabbat supper and whatever my mother-in-law serves will be better than good enough. She’s a fantastic cook and hostess - she doesn’t know how to make blintzes because she’s Sephardic of Moroccan origin. Strangely enough my wife makes delicious blintzes because my Mom of dearly loved and blessed memory gave her a great recipe!

A great shave this afternoon with Razorock's Don Marco, and the Rockwell 6s on R-2. I used the menthol pre-shave soap and mentholated aftershave to add a little chill. BBS finish.

Happy shaves!
