Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave this morning. Gotta say, if you're a fan of citrus scents, this combo is a must have. Strong, bright, crisp citrus scent with heavy notes of grapefruit along with tangerine and orange. Superb lather built with the Paladin 2-band select badger brush for three passes with the '58 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with alum, Quinn's Pink Grapefruit and Orange Rind witch hazel the matching aftershave lotion & Pecksniff's "Grapefruit and Citron talc.

Tried to go with a vintage barbershop vibe scent with this Shave.
Razor : 1961 Aristocrat Slim Adjustable,
Blade Gillette Platinum 15+ uses, (lost actual count after 15)
Ds Cosmetics Dragon Palace shave brush with Manchurian Silvertip Badger Knot ( not shown)
Soap Clubman
Aftershave was Newly Purchase Aqua Velva from Walmart. No good pretty much scentless and basically no cooling menthol at all . So put on some Osage Rub. Finnish off with some Clubman Talc

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wonderful shave this morning. Found a bowl of Art of Shaving "Lemon" shaving soap in bowl at the local Marshalls for $10 some time ago and went ahead and picked it up. It was the newer version without tallow. I thought, even if it turns out to be crap, in the end I wasn't out a lot of money. Used it for the first time this morning and was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of lather it produced. Not much scent, but the lather made up for it. Two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with alum, Quinn's Pink Grapefruit and Orange Rind witch hazel, Myrsol "Agua Di Limón" aftershave lotion, Pecksniff's "Grapefruit and Citron talc & Alvarez Gómez "Agua de Colonia Concentrada" EdC .

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Excellent shave this morning. Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Fresco" soap and splash. Wonderfully clean, crisp and soothing scent with notes of lime, basil and spearmint. Super thick and slick lather built with the Moon Soaps synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" and I finished with alum, Thayers cucumber witch hazel, the matching skin food splash, Pecksniff's "Grapefruit and Citron talc & Dior "Eau Sauvage" EdT.
