Quite a while ago when I was in Russia on a business trip with my wife a very good friend of mine who lives in the city of Khabarovsk which is in the Russian Far East invited us to stay with him and his wife for a week and they treated us like a king and a queen. He and his wife showered us with so many gifts - for me he filled up a box with so many fantastic Russian shaving creams as well as a big sample of this soap. In Russian d’lya br’itya means “for shaving” and it’s made by a lovely woman who has a cosmetics company and she also produces shaving soaps and aftershaves for men. This particular soap has a very nice rosy scent, it gives FANTASTIC lather that’s so thick, rich, creamy and protective, it’s really slick, and it’s so gentle on sensitive skin. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt so soothing, and I couldn’t resist the Tabac aftershave. Three passes did me proud - another cracking good BBS shave that I enjoyed so much. A special thanks to my dear friends Dmitry and Ludmila for their wonderful hospitality and generosity. Hopefully soon they’ll be visiting us!

My friend gave me so many great Russian creams as well as this big soap sample as well as a few nice aftershave balms and splashes - not to mention the nice perfume he gave my wife!

### Notes
Used the Henson AL-13++ for some manscaping on my abdomen so my diabetic infusion sets stick to my skin and not just my hair, which then fall off. The Henson is great for body shaving.

1 days growth on the face handled with the Yates Merica and a KAI blade(2). Nice shave.

The PAA Green Ray is such a soft brush, yet does a phenomenal job whipping up the perfect lather.

Friday morning’s Fun Filled Grand Freeze:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 5
Stirling Glacial Cedar SS
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Stirling Glacial Cedar AS Splash

This Glacial Cedar is one of the newer scents which Rod and Mandy created about two years ago and I absolutely LOVE it. Along with the cedar I find a slight hint of lime in it to make the scent all the more beautiful. The soap is a fabulous latherer, the slickness is amazing, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the postshave feeling is wonderful just like all of these Stirling soaps. The Gold Bond moisturizer has more than enough menthol in it as well and it’s so soothing. Finally a couple of splashes of the Glacial Cedar aftershave and I’m frozen solid not to mention how awesome I smell. Another most enjoyable three pass BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wonderful shave with which to close out the work week! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's phenomenal "Dragonsbeard" suite of products. An incredible scent with a phenomenal lather built with the Rich Yuen synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & the matching skin food splash & EdP. Zero feedback from the alum.

BBS bliss!!
