DAY 11 – One Pass WTG/ATG/XTG Modified & Clean Up
Edge was very effective – some minor stropping this morning
Sun & Moon razor is quickly becoming my favorite
Overall a very smooth & effective one pass shave

A great three pass BBS with a lousy setup - thank goodness this soap and aftershave will soon be finished. I predict that by the end of this month I’ll be rid of this garbage.

The Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #478 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Cobra Classic razor and the Feather Artist Club Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Nivea Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Quite a while ago when I was in Russia on a business trip with my wife a very good friend of mine who lives in the city of Khabarovsk which is in the Russian Far East invited us to stay with him and his wife for a week and they treated us like a king and a queen. He and his wife showered us with so many gifts - for me he filled up a box with so many fantastic Russian shaving creams as well as a big sample of this soap. In Russian d’lya br’itya means “for shaving” and it’s made by a lovely woman who has a cosmetics company and she also produces shaving soaps and aftershaves for men. This particular soap has a very nice rosy scent, it gives FANTASTIC lather that’s so thick, rich, creamy and protective, it’s really slick, and it’s so gentle on sensitive skin. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt so soothing, and I couldn’t resist the Tabac aftershave. Three passes did me proud - another cracking good BBS shave that I enjoyed so much. A special thanks to my dear friends Dmitry and Ludmila for their wonderful hospitality and generosity. Hopefully soon they’ll be visiting us!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A simply incredible shave this morning! New soap day with the arrival of "Patient No.9" from Ariana & Evans. Wonderful scent with incredible lather built with the WWBW badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and finishing with Czech & Speake "No.88" aftershave splash & EdC. Fantastic shave all around. Minimal feedback from the alum. I had read somewhere (can't remember the source) that C&S No.88 was Ozzy's frag of choice. Makes sense if true. Could totally see him wearing it! 🦇

BBS bliss!!

My Best Shave yet – even some flat blading on the neck
As close to BBS as I can get with a straight
Overall a fantastic BBS shave result
