Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. Here’s something that I haven’t used in ages - this Lush Life soap is from South Africa and it’s vegan based, it has a very nice scent that’s hard for me to describe, it gives excellent lather that’s thick, rich, creamy, it’s not too slick but I can forgive that, it has a mild but pleasant menthol sensation, and it leaves a fairly comfortable postshave feeling. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt very soothing as well as cooling, and the Aqua Velva went on with a great chill as well as its wonderful old school barbershop scent that I LOVE. Three passes did the job for me - another awesome BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!
