Guys, look out because this setup is lethal and I mean LETHAL. The Glacial Wintergreen stuff (to me) smells delightful, the soap is such a pleasure to lather, its tallow formula gives it such great slickness, it’s so frigid, and it leaves my skin feeling so well moisturized as well as soothed. The matching balm and witch hazel are two other menthol atom bombs with the same lovely scent as the soap and lots of skincare. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was sheer enjoyment!

Monday 3/2 Shave
FFFMM - FIXED FOUR FOR MARCH MADNESS 2026

DAY 2 – Fairly quick two pass and no real clean up
Getting to know some of the idiosyncrasies of this large blade
You have to trust in the dry down process and not over-shave
Overall a fantastic DFS+/BBS shave result

After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and PSC Caffeinated After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Incredible shave with which to kick off the workweek! Returned to my vintage Shulton "Old Spice" suite of products. Classic "Old School" scent with a phenomenal lather built with the Semogue SOC boar brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave lotion, talc, & EdC. Again, zero feedback from the alum.

BBS & Old School bliss!!

Nice looking razor. Is that brass and is it Korean? Also, would you recommend PSC products? I like that they are US made.

Thanks Lantsman!

The truth is MSC Wintergreen is slightly colder than the Stirling version. The difference is small but the MSC one is stronger. The Wintergreen aftershave has a stronger menthol kick to the point where you can’t splash it on liberally - just a couple of small dabs on both cheeks and one on your neck is more than enough. The scent is also longer lasting than the Stirling one.

That was my first shave with the JiFULI razor. It is 1.85 oz. and is well balanced. It is an aluminum razor that is coated with the brass color. I believe it is available in a black and aluminum color. I like the PSC Caffeinated soap and after shaves. They are the only PSC products I have. I am getting close to the end of the soap. Since I have more soaps and creams than I could use up in my remaining lifetime, I will not be replacing it. If I were younger, I might have replaced it. HA!

Joe's soap base is always so good. I whipped up a beautiful lather in my HC&C bowl with the PAA Atomic Rocket. I gave me terrific protection and glide. Very slick.i had 24 hours of growth, which was easily handled by the Yates Merica with the Accuforge blade.

I normally shave every 2-3 days. However, we went to a reunion get together with my college fraternity chapter alumni, so I shaved today, 2/27, as I won't have time on Saturday 2/28. Ariana and Evans shave cream is awesome. It takes a fair amount of water and whips up a rich, creamy, thick lather. Great performance from this lather.

Great shave this afternoon. It was very relaxing after taking the dog on a 2.5 mile walk. 2 days of growth removed with the Yates Merica and a 3rd use Accuforge blade.

A little more than half a day of growth. I used minimal pressure to engage the head of the Proof Benchmark and got a BBS shave.

DAY 3 – Two Pass and some Clean Up – Much Better
I am learning to use this big blade – ATG was much better today
Choked up a bit more toward the blade for close in chin work
Overall my best shave result so far this Month
