Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Great shave this morning. Returned to Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and their excellent "Hotel Cecil" soap & splash set. Great "old school" scent (an homage to Burma Shave) with incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Paladin "Tigris Perla" 2-band badger brush (decided to go with this brush again today) for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '61 Gillette Fatboy and I finished with the matching splash & Chanel "Antaeus" EdT.

Cologne - Barrett Fragrances Scarlett Gamble (an homage to Baccarat Rouge 540)
Stepping into a hot shower, always helps to prepare for a rejuvenating shave. I used Pasteur Pharmacy's The Bowery Boys Gotham soap, infused with the invigorating essence of Baccarat 540.
The Erskine brush worked its magic, creating a rich lather that awakened my senses, setting the stage for the revitalizing ritual ahead. Each stroke of the Aylsworth Razors Kopparkant razor was comfortable, precise and energizing, gliding effortlessly across my skin both face and head, leaving behind a trail of smoothness and vigor. In a 2 pass trip on the shave train I was in BBSTown on my face and darn close on the dome..Still getting used to the dome shaves !
The matching splash gave a well needed wake up sensation, with a good skin feel And to complete the experience, I spritzed on the Barrett Fragrances Scarlett Gamble cologne, a dynamic homage to Baccarat 540, its rejuvenating notes lingering on my skin, uplifting my spirits and leaving me feeling revitalized.
In the end, it wasn't just a shave; it was a revitalizing journey, a celebration of freshness and renewal that left me feeling invigorated, energized, and ready
to take on the day with renewed vigor.

Top shelf shave in every way this morning! Returned to Martin de Candre and their "Rose" shave soap. Love the scent and it provides some of the BEST lather I've ever used, whipped up with very little effort with the new Paladin "Purple Haze" 2-band badger brush. Two passes (plus touch-up) with the Timeless TRBR38 and I finished with Geo. F. Trumper "Coral Skin Food" & Creed "Royal Mayfair" EdP.
