I’m trying desperately to kill off this bloody Cold Spices soap so I loaded my Yaqi Barber Pole for around 40 seconds but there’s still some soap left in the tub although not enough for more than two more uses at the most. Anyway, although I did three passes I have to be honest - although I ended up BBS I didn’t enjoy this shave at all. The Cold Spices aftershave will also soon be finished - thank goodness.

I love the scent and performance of Subtle Art Soap Co Mid Cape Barber. Joe's soap base is excellent. The Yates Merica with the Rex Platinum (4) blade did a great job taking me to BBS-Town.

My Razorock Plissoft is a fantastic brush for lathering creams (and soaps too!) not to mention how popular this 26mm Monster is. It’s definitely one of the best synthetics you can find and it’s very reasonably priced. The Palmolive Menthol has always been one of my favourite creams - the scent is so nice, just a small dab on both cheeks is enough for tons of great lather, the menthol sensation is very invigorating, and it’s so soothing. Talking about soothing the Stoffel balm is awesome in that department and it’s icy cold. Finally the Alt Innsbruck aftershave with its lovely old school European scent and its strong menthol kick. Three passes gave me such a fabulous BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did one quick pass with the Pal Injecto-Matic razor with a Vintage PAL Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wow! Incredible shave this morning! Returned to ETHOS and Frank's wonderful "Foire d'arancio e Neroli" shave soap. A wonderfully clean, bright citrus and green scent with a thick and slick lather built with the S. Tinker Brushworks synth for three passes with the Rockwell 6S and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and Maurer & Wirtz "4711" aftershave splash & EdC.

BBS bliss!!

Warning – this Razor is so ugly it will hurt your eyes
I love a lot of Patina and this little Duckling excels
It flew in to deliver one of my best shaves this month
Two pass DFS+/BBS and the Schick clean up on the neck
