Great shave this morning. I skipped yesterday due to Saturday's rather late shave, so today's was extra nice! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Shave MD" shave soap & skin food. Wonderfully crisp, and effervescent lemon-lime soda scent, with incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks "REM Cycle" Sweet Spot badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Fatboy and I finished with the matching skin food splash & Acqua di Parma "Colonia" EdC.
For some reason the need for a Baile razor has been bugging me for a while so I went ahead and got the BD176. Don't ask me why I have felt the need to get this one, don't know. Anyway, it's a pretty thing and shaves just fine. Now as for the blade, I thought they were some older Personna but it sure didn't shave like one. So it's a mystery but think I'll change to a Silver Star. The Cresent City Shave Works SS is nice, easy to lather and has pleasant scent. So I'll give today's shave a 7 and plan to do better tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks.
