Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave this morning! Went back to Stirling's "Island Man". Fantastic summer scent, it being patterned after Creed's Virgin Island Water. Three passes and I finished with a splash of the matching after shave (+ skin food) and a spray of Alexandria Fragrances "Hawaii Volcano" EdP.

The soap's scent is light but the lather is richly creamy and slick...awesome!
It's amazing how this well-used blade is still performing great. Paired with the excellent razor & base plate, the 3pass shave was very smooth and efficient resulting in a bbs/dfs finish. The aftershave is absolutely frigid and smells marvelous!

Can you tell me a bit about this soap, if you don’t mind? Also, nice to see the Rolls Razor getting some play! I need to pull mine out too!

I went to Oz Shaving to check on their description, but seems the site is being rebuilt. This one to me is has a woody (pine and vetiver), smoky, oakmoss, and dark tart sharpness to it. It was a fall seasonal offering from them, and quite enjoyable.
