Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A fantastic shave with which to close out the workweek! Back to ETHOS and Frank's wonderful "Vanilla Safi" shave soap. Wonderful scent with an incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Riva Brushes badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, Nivea DEEP Vanilla & Bourbon aftershave splash & Viktor & Rolf "Spicebomb" EdT.

Another effortless BBS shave!

That scale design is so cool. I've seen it on many razors and have always wondered if they were replacement scales sold in hardware stores or if they were special order scales. We may never know, but what I do know is your W&B looks very classy in them!

I'm suffering Ethos envy! I have zero Ethos in my den, I need to sell some straight razors so I can have some of that luxury in my life! :ROFLMAO:

Friday 1/23 Shave
BADGERary 2026

I like a three pin and a razor with some heft
Not the prettiest of blades but a fantastic edge
One Pass and some Jawline clean up was all that was needed
Overall a smooth & comfortable DFS+ shave

Razor: T. Noonan & Sons MECCA
Blade: Synthetic 1-4-8-12K / Translucent ARK (1X)
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Blue Puck
Brush: Omega 11047 Mighty Mixed Midget
Post Shave: Lustray Blue Spice Splash
Post Shave: Gillette Cool Wave Aftershave

That particular Wade came with some chewed up horn scales. It was part of a razor lot of three that I got for $19.99 plus shipping - the new scales are courtesy of Adam at Ye Ole Straight n Strop's generosity.

I was gonna say that square wedge W&B looks a little out of place without its black Bakelite or horn scales. It looks awesome in them!
