The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE MAX razor and the Supply Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Nivea Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wow, did I ever freeze my face to smithereens and I enjoyed it so much. The Peppermint Lime soap and aftershave are two menthol atom bombs with such a delightful, refreshing scent. The lime seems to dominate but the peppermint still comes through, the soap lathers like there’s no tomorrow, it’s so slick, the menthol hits like a sledgehammer, and it’s so awesome skincare wise. Today I’ll be writing a review on it. The Gold Bond moisturizer and the Peppermint Lime aftershave worked their magic as well. Finally the lovely Eau Sauvage fragrance which pairs very nicely with this soap and aftershave had me smelling beautiful - my wife even said so. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was fit for a king!

A phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to Crabtree & Evelyn "Mysore Sandalwood" shave soap. Fantastic though light scent with an incredible lather built with the Stirling Soap Co. synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and ETHOS "Mysore Santal" skin food splash & EdT.
Another effortless BBS shave!

Yesterday I wrote a review on the Hega stick from Sweden which is one of the BEST soaps I’ve ever used. Does it ever smell beautiful, I love how it lathers, it’s so slick, and it’s chock full of skincare. What a pity that it was discontinued because it’s awesome. As I also said it’s over a hundred years old. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt great although I didn’t really need it, and finally the newer version of Old Spice aftershave (I hate it!) and I’m ready for another relaxing day of retirement. Another tip top three pass BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

A great Creed "Aventus" homage with an incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash & Mont Blanc "Explorer" EdT.
