Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Nice shave this morning. First use of the "Hill Country Dew" soap from Central Texas Soaps. Used a little too much water so the lather was less cushioning than I like. Very good slip / slickness though. Great scent. Two passes with the Black Beauty and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Caron "Le 3e Homme de Caron" EdT.

Central Texas Soaps was an awesome artisan - I love this one and their Mr. Pepper one they did for WCS. It’s a bummer that they decided to close up shop - Aidan loved their bubble gum hand soap as well. Great shave my friend!12 January, 2023

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Outstanding shave in every way this morning! First use of the 70's Gillette Techmatic and boy, was I surprised at the closeness / smoothness of the shave it provided. I don't have a lot of experience with SE razors. I picked up one of the Parker adjustable razors when they first debuted was rather disappointed with its performance. Way too mild, even on the most aggressive setting. I did run across an older Parker SE (non adjustable) that I have absolutely NO IDEA either from where it came or when I acquired it. That one gave a noticeably better shave but still not up to snuff compared to my DEs. The Techmatic though? This thing was fantastic! Two passes and only one small spot that needed a touch-up. Close, comfortable and wonderful post shave face-feel. Fantastic scent and lather from the Stirling "Oro Valley" soap. Finished with a splash of the matching after shave and a spray of Creed "Royal Oud" EdP.
