Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Another great shave this morning! Returned to the Valobra-era TAOS shave soap. A fantastic lather built with the WWBW badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and Davidoff "Cool Water" aftershave splash & EdT.

BBS bliss!!

Blade: Astra superior platinum (Russia)
Brush: Abbas 26mm Synthetic (Don't Love this brush, Don't Hate it; it's just okay)
Lather: Stirling Barberbershop
Post shave: Bloc Osma, Thayer's unscented witch hazel
Aftershave: Stirling Barbershop
Balm: Stirling unscented post shave Balm
Fragrance: Stirling Barbershop EDT
Talc: Yardley Elegance
Beard oil: Wildman original scent
I know Stirling Barbershop is a bit too "powdery" for some; but I love the stuff.

I think the Proraso Red aftershave would go quite nicely. I had that a couple of years ago It's really nice. One of my sons tried it and loved it so I let him keep it. I may have to purchase one for myself!

Did 2 passes for an easy BBS result without any blood loss. Alum feedback was silent. Splashed on the witch hazel to tone and calm my skin. I usually use Pinaud-Clubman Classic or Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave, but went with the Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh because I have some left and thought it would complement the Tabac. In my judgement, it did. Tomorrow morning, I will do a headshave with the same setup except ths Tabac and the Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh. I haven’t decide on the soap and the aftershave. Good thing I have time to decide. Take care.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #224 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply The Single Edge SE razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Ice Blue. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DAY 13 – edge is holding fast – very comfortable shave
