Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Skipped yesterday so today's shave was extra nice! Returned to vintage Williams shave soap, this time going with their menthol version (incidentally, these pucks fit nicely into vintage Seaforth mugs). Practically no scent left and, unfortunately, no detectable menthol cooling. However, the lather the soap produced with superb, built with the new (to me) vintage Ever Ready 20mm 2-band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '57 Gillette Red Tip and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by vintage Avon "Deep Woods" aftershave lotion and EdC.

Great shave with which to ring out the old year. Returned to @CBLSoap.com and Chris' excellent "Drinks & Daves" shave soap and tonic. Fantastic scent with notes of deep woody humidor and rich cigar notes, with the leather and whisky notes shining in the aftershave tonic. Phenomenally thick and slick lather built with the new (to me) vintage Ever-Ready 200 24mm 2-Band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '67 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the marching aftershave tonic and vintage Avon "Black Suede" EdC.
