Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Went back to Stirling Soap Co. "Stirling Spice" shave soap. Very nice classic "Old Spice" scent and great lather as well built with the Wild West Brushworks "Lagoon" ST badger brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the RazoRock "Mamba 70" and I finished with some Shulton "Old Spice" ASL and P&G "Old Spice" cologne.

I don't have a very sophisticated nose, but it smells like Vetiver to me. Stronger than MdC, not as Green(grassy green, like mowed grass) as Fine Green Vetiver. But there are a lot of people who have the breadth and depth of experience and vocabulary to compliment their noses, and give you a more detailed appraisal and context than I. I like it enough that I got the AS and the Shower Gel.

Just received this soap from a very kind and generous Dave!
The lather is slick with a very lightly scented. Good enough for a nice SR shave.
The razor's edge is buttery smooth and crisply keen after a refresh on the 0.1um balsa followed by stroping on the roo leather. Enjoyed 3passes for a bbs-dfs finish...

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Best shave of the week (so far) this morning! Went back to RazoRock and their excellent "P.160" shave soap. This is such a low-key killer soap that I'm sure flies under the radar of most out there because they're put off by the low price tag. Nothing at that price can be good, right? Wrong! Excellent classic Italian marzipan scent with a superb lather built with the Semogue SOC Premium Boar brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the Rockwell 6S (plate 5) and I finished with Epsilon "Blue Mediterranean" after shave splash and Dior "Sauvage" parfum.
