Great shave from yesterday Lantsman!Sunday April 26, 2026
I decided to make it a chilly shave. 1 day of growth. I used the Personna Gem Platinum Diamond Glide blade. It was still tough to get a close shave with this extremely mild razor. I tater this shave as a DFS-.

Unreal……back in 2018 when I first received a puck of this Kameelperd soap I was expecting it to be very cold because I had heard that it was hyper mentholated but I wasn’t expecting it to be to the point where it’s a match for any of the Stirling Glacials. It’s a glycerine based soap with a delightful coffee/peppermint scent, it lathers like there’s no tomorrow, the menthol sensation is so intense, and it gives a very comfortable post-shave feeling. The Gold Bond moisturizer is so good as a balm, and the Northern Elixir aftershave smells great, not to mention how frigid it is. Three passes gave me a super duper BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Great shave with which to kick off the workweek. Returned to CBL Premium Shave Soap and Chris's excellent "Hammam Spa" shave soap. This is a perfect warm weather scent as it's light but very pleasant. Incredible lather built with the Simpson badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Acqua di Parma "Colonia" aftershave emulsion & EdC.

This wasn't supposed to be a theme shave, but as it turns out, the theme was "comforting scents." The Lothur Tears soap is a very comfortable fresh soap scent, kinda like a gentle Irish Spring. Proraso Red AS, the astoundingly great 2020 Paradigm, and the Simpson XL2 Best. A groovy shave.

We close on our new home today. I am doing my first shave there today.
The Palmolive Menthol Shave Cream here face-lathered well with Jayaruh #425 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick C Repeater razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
