2 days of growth tackled by the Henson with the new Personna Gem Diamond Glide DE blade. It is definitely very sharp. However, it is not as smooth as some of my other blades. I will need to continue trying it including in other razors. BBS finish.

The only reason I kept this dreck was because it was a gift from a good friend of mine in New York City. He sent it to me as a birthday gift almost two years ago! 😂😂

Single edge Sunday!
Gem pushbutton with TOBS Van Der Hagen white handle boar brush and Pinaud Clubman "Gents Gin"
***TOBS is always a solid performer and hits above its price range. If you haven't used a single edge,I can't recommend them enough.Stiff blade gives a completely different feel than a double edge.
Gents Gin is a solid performer that has a decent burn!

My dear brother Jaco in Pretoria, South Africa is another soap and aftershave genius - his Sanga Symphony is a tallow based treasure with a lovely cologney/soapy scent, it delivers such awesome lather that’s thick, rich, creamy, as well as slick and protective along with excellent post-shave care. The Lubriderm moisturizer and the Musgo Real Classic aftershave were a perfect finish. Three passes gave me a superb BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Love the sleek look of this Swedish masterpiece
Could be a bit keener – maybe some time on the ARK finisher

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Another late post but again, a great shave to start the day! Returned to Crabtree & Evelyn and the excellent "Mysore Sandalwood" shave soap. Not a lot of scent when I first began using it. However, it's gotten stronger as I've worked further into it. Phenomenal lather built with the Semogue SOC boar brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel and ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Mysore Santal" skin food splash & EdT.

I decided to make it a chilly shave. 1 day of growth. I used the Personna Gem Platinum Diamond Glide blade. It was still tough to get a close shave with this extremely mild razor. I tater this shave as a DFS-.
