The Semogue Owners Club is, in terms of beauty, one of my favorites. The laser etching, and the quality of the wood contribute to a "premium boar" experience, which is a funny phrase. The Rockwell 6S on plate R5 is, I've always felt, a brutalist razor. It is a razor that Bruce Banner would keep around just to make sure the Hulk has a razor worthy of his indestructible Gamma-beard. The Ethos/CBL Fresh Lime is one of those magical soaps that, when it's gone, its gone, so its always special. The matching splash is almost gone, but I have Royall Lyme which is better frankly. I have two tubs of this stuff. It's slick, and it smells great. What more do i need? This was a chatty shave apparently, ill shut up now.6312.jpg

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A late post but a great shave to start the day. Returned to my Valobra-era TAOS unscented shave soap. Exceptional lather built with the Omega synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & Clubman aftershave lotion.

The Rex Page is an extremely mild razor. This was my 3rd shave with it. I had 1 days growth and had to really work to get a DFS. The razor itself looks great and feels great in the hand. I will continue try different blades to see if I can get a better shave without so much work.

Awesome shave Lantsman!

Although my beard stubble is really tough my 1950s Super Speed gives me fabulous shaves with no matter which blades I use!

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #454 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Darwin-Stoll Jr. 3D Lather Catcher razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Ice Blue After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Happy Easter to any of my fellow Christians!
SOTD is one I haven't used in quite some time; Thomas Shelby signature scent, from Wet the Face. I'd forgotten how great a fragrance this soap and aftershave are.
The main accords I pick up are Orris, lavender, a woody note; and although one isn't listed on the scent description, a citrusy note. Smells like a nice, high quality, suede.
It's not what I would call a young man's scent. It's defintely geared to a more mature crowd. If you like Brut, Aqua Velva, English Leather, and especially Old Spice, then this will be right up your alley. If you prefer scents geared towards the younger crowd, you'd probably best skip this. I love the stuff. I recently picked up another set, not realizing why my original set was so depleted. Glad I restocked AND revisited this scent. Truly good stuff.

Today I opened up the razor 1/4 turn, which it gave it just a tiny bit more efficiency, thus producing a much better shave. I truly enjoyed today's shave. BBS finish.
